Greensward Company History

Greensward started in the early 1990's with agricultural crop spraying. Greensward moved into equestrian in the mid 90's followed by building a low ground pressure vehicle for sports turf including golf courses, football pitches, cricket pitches, rugby pitches. At a similar time demand grew for industry requiring weed free sites. This coincided with increasing legislation and regulation in the use of pesticides consequently making it a task that should only be carried out by trained, skilled and registered operatives.

The ever increasing population of horses in northern scotland has seen increased demand for Greensward's services which cover all aspects of paddock maintenance.

Greensward's most recent expansion has been into Christmas trees. A requirement to spray 4" seedlings and 15ft mature trees presented new challenges which Greensward met. Inter row spraying and mechanical pruning and shaping is part of our service.
